Fund a movie and DVDs to explain the environmental consequences of nuclear war!

This website has been created and maintained using only private funding. It is always a work in progress and my work is entirely donated.

I can sure use your help! My goal is to get this message spread around the world to all peoples and nations. Thus we are translating the website into many languages, but it is not an inexpensive process.

I also am working on producing a short DVD and a movie which can be used to educate people about the dangers of deadly climate change and ozone loss from nuclear war.

The movie is an ambitions project. It will:

  • Explain the size and power of the global nuclear arsenal
  • Illustrate the detonation of a nuclear weapon in a large city
  • Show the creation of an immense nuclear firestorm
  • Illustrate how hundreds of firestorms would put millions of tons of smoke into the stratosphere
  • Explain how the smoke will block sunlight and cause average global temperatures to fall to Ice Age levels in days
  • Animate the consequences of most sunlight not reaching the Earth: Nuclear Famine
  • Offer a pathway of hope; first steps to movie away from the brink, eventually resulting in a Nuclear Weapons Convention: A treaty to eliminate nuclear weapons forever

Your funds can help create this movie that can change the world! We need this movie to teach people around the world about the ultimate danger nuclear war poses to humanity through deadly climate change and environmental destruction.

A webpage will be set up to list the names of all donors (who wish to be listed).

This is a project led by Steven Starr, for the Missouri Nuclear Weapons Education Fund, a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization
